Evangelistic Football Tournament

Combining the love of sports with the love of Jesus,
we reach hearts through football.

Our Program goals

At the heart of our organization is a deeply-rooted commitment to the establishment of new churches and the education of future pastors. We are keenly aware that vast expanses of Western Africa are yet to hear the life-altering message of the Gospel. Driven by this understanding, our goal is to plant churches that not only believe in the teachings of the Bible but are also resilient and dynamic. We aspire for these churches to mature and prosper, eventually multiplying and expanding their influence, echoing the biblical principle found in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”.

About Our Program

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'”
– Mark 16:15

At the heart of our mission, we aim to combine the power of sport with the love of Christ, embodying our motto: Making disciples of all nations through football. Our Evangelistic Football Tournament stands as a testament to this purpose. The event unfolds in three pivotal stages, each playing a unique role in our outreach initiative. The journey commences as the players congregate, receiving clear instructions about the tournament and soaking in an atmosphere of prayer before stepping onto the playing field. It’s an opportunity to unify in spirit before the physical game kicks off.

As the first half concludes, the players are invited to rest and recuperate, savoring refreshing drinks and regaining their strength. However, the intermission is more than just a physical break; it also serves as a spiritual interlude. An appointed speaker presents the Gospel to the players and spectators, emphasizing Jesus Christ as our sole hope. The message is profound, laying the groundwork for understanding and inviting reflection on Christ’s teachings. The second half of the game then unfolds, providing ample time for the players to contemplate the message received.

The final whistle isn’t just an end to the game, but the beginning of the most crucial part of the program. Following the full-time mark, all participants are once again invited to gather for the second part of the spiritual discourse. In this final phase, we extend a clear and heartfelt invitation to accept Jesus, reinforcing the earlier message. We believe the second half of the game offers ample time for introspection, enhancing receptivity to our concluding message.

Our Evangelistic Football Tournament serves as more than just a sporting event; it’s a vessel for spiritual transformation. It’s through this initiative that we’ve witnessed over a hundred young individuals welcome Jesus into their lives. The football field becomes a stage for sportsmanship and faith, where believers exemplify the light of Christ to the unsaved. Following the acceptance of Jesus as their Savior, these individuals are then connected with local Bible-believing churches, ensuring continued spiritual guidance and growth. The love for football and the love for Christ converge here, shaping lives and carving new paths.
