Christian Counseling Office

Offering compassionate guidance rooted in Christ’s love,
we aim to heal hearts and minds.

Our Program goals

At the heart of our organization is a deeply-rooted commitment to the establishment of new churches and the education of future pastors. We are keenly aware that vast expanses of Western Africa are yet to hear the life-altering message of the Gospel. Driven by this understanding, our goal is to plant churches that not only believe in the teachings of the Bible but are also resilient and dynamic. We aspire for these churches to mature and prosper, eventually multiplying and expanding their influence, echoing the biblical principle found in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”.

About Our Program

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
Chronicles 16:11

In many parts of West Africa, an alarming number of churches lack the necessary infrastructure for providing support to their congregations. It’s a disheartening reality that many of these churches don’t have trained leaders who can offer guidance and counseling to those facing hardship. At WALYM, we’ve identified this critical gap in spiritual and emotional support, and we are working diligently to bridge it.

Notably, numerous African women and teenagers are enduring varying forms of abuse, an issue that demands immediate attention and intervention. The unfortunate truth is that a significant number of churches in these regions do not have established counseling programs. Thus, these individuals are often left in the lurch, grappling with their pain alone. WALYM recognizes the urgency of this situation and is committed to creating solutions.

Pastors in these regions face their own set of challenges, as well. Their schedules are often overwhelmed with sermon preparation and administrative duties, leaving them little to no time to provide the much-needed counseling to their congregations. At WALYM, we understand the complexity of this predicament. As part of our commitment to these communities, we offer pastoral training programs to equip church leaders with the necessary skills to extend support to their congregation.

WALYM’s mission extends beyond training pastors and leaders. We aim to offer direct counseling services to our brothers and sisters in Christ and the wider community. Our goal is to ensure that no one feels alone in their struggle and that help is always within reach. Please, if you are in need or know someone who could benefit from our services, do not hesitate to reach out. We’re here to serve.
